Offered are two Spanish-language vinyl-covered bound books - "Albert Camus" - embossed with gilded spines published by Aguilar S.A. in Mexico in 1959. The books are from our parents's personal library and were purchased at a bookstore in Costa Rica, and still bear the store's sticker on the rear end page.
The two volumes present the complete translated and published works of Albert Camus (1913 - 1960) prior to 1959. The French philosopher and second-youngest Nobel Laureate of the day died in a tragic car accident in 1960.
Each volume measures approximately: 4.75" W x 1.875" D x 7.25" H.
