Presented is a fine quality sterling silver jelly spoon made by Towle. This piece is in the D’Orleans pattern, which was patented in 1923. The handle has a thick border of design and a flower bouquet in the middle. There is a monogram on the top of the handle of I think either “B” or “R”.
The back is marked with the Towle hallmark, sterling and patent 1923.
This piece is in very nice condition, with typical use scratches on spoon face. The designs are very crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The piece measures 6 3/4 inches long and weighs 36.6 grams or 1.3 ounces.
