The bench is composed of seven teak slats and a delicate black lacquered steel frame.

This timeless bench represents a piece of the history of its creator, Harry Bertoia (March 1915 - November 1978), an Italian-American artist and designer renowned for his furniture designs for Knoll International; his pieces have become timeless design classics over the decades.
