This is such a fine work... subtle, observant and deeply atmospheric. Front Street fronts the East River on the South-Eastern tip of Manhattan. The cat tells you there's a wholesale food market nearby. It may be the early hours of the morning with the men keeping warm by a fire, one reading a paper, waiting to unload the trucks.
