Mid-century Chinese needlepoint Kuan Yin in embroidery stitch, featuring a classical Chinese fret frame with gilt butterfly corners. Classic Ching ornamental work lavished on this Buddhist image of Kuan Yin over a lotus flower and flanked by bamboo and a crane flying. A Chinese script is included in the image. Framed under glass and held in by two small Chinese coins.
The measurements are 12" tall by 10" wide framed, the window is 8" by 5.75". Suspended by a hanging ring from the top center.
