Watercolor with bodycolor. This is a rare & important still life by Brabazon, displaying his ethereal technique to greater advantage than the customary travel scenes from his fascinating life. Accompanied by the Chris Beetles, 1999 Summer Show catalogue, this work featured on the Title Page and listed for £5,500; and an additional catalogue devoted to the artist from1997 that includes tributes by John Singer Sargent, Sir Frederick Wedmore & Hammond Smith.
