Rare 'Pirkka' low lounge chair, designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara in 1955 for Laukaan Puu Finland.
This model was, unlike other models of the Pirkka Series, never put back into production and therefore it is hard to find.
It has a stained solid pine seat and backrest, and a black lacquered beech structure.
Great looking chair.
The chair is in good original condition with a lovely patina, no damages. This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
