Artimeta, Tomado and Pilastro were the Dutch companies who became succesful producing small metal furniture in a new, innovative European ( French ) style. The inspiration can be found in the work of Mategot designs.
This heavy, stable, iron umbrella stand by unknown designer reflects the era very well. It is well made by thick iron parts and has as copper drip tray. Very good condition.
