Vintage German wooden nutcracker from the Erzgebirge region, traditionally hand-painted in vivid blue, red, yellow and black with a fur beard and classic soldier form. The crisp geometric crown, bright uniform and expressive painted face give it the strong folk-art character associated with traditional German Christmas nutcrackers.
