Sgraffito vase from 1920 by Josef Ekberg for Gustavsberg, Sweden. Flower motif in Swedish Jugend (or Art Nouveau) style decorates the vase in blue shades. Designer signature with the year it was made underneath the vase. Age appropriate wear with some small marks.
Josef Ekberg was a Swedish ceramic artist that worked at Gustavsberg between 1889-1945. He is most known for his Sgraffito technique that he developed at Gustavsberg.
