The shelf cubbies are 6” deep with a pagoda top which is charming. But the desk is also beautiful by itself (measuring 28.5 x 20 x 30.25 high) and has a nice handpainted surface featuring a phoenix bird perched on a branch. The piece has some age but the exact year it was made is unknown. The drawers have dovetail construction and the desk overall is very strong and solid. Would make a welcoming piece in a guest room.
