Elegant circa 1960s Shōwa Era 4-panel Japanese Byobu (folding screen), depicting a peaceful landscape with mountains, river, pine trees, blossoming sakura (cherry trees), and people in gazebo. Signed and sealed by artist. Gouache, watercolor and ink on paper. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners and medallions. Paper and original label with inventory number on back. Nearly Excellent condition - minor age wear overall, no damage to the painting nor back, strong hinges, clean, sturdy.
