Beautiful custom framed antique herbarium floral specimens, collected circa 1880-1890. Handwritten names in lovely French and Latin script on a blue and white specimen sheet (perfect for that delft look!).
Presented in new solid oak wood picture frames with tempered glass with acid free and cold pressed paper backing (behind the original patinated paper). These are original and one of a kind pressed flower specimens from the 19th century – not floral prints.
Protected by a glass cover, the herbarium invites you to explore the intricacies of each pressed leaf and petal. It's a window into a tangible connection to the world of botany and exploration, from two centuries back.
