A finely detailed pair of miniature hand-coiled seed jars by R. Concho, an artisan from Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico. Each piece is beautifully decorated with bold black-on-white geometric patterns, a hallmark of traditional Acoma pottery. The intricate symmetrical designs radiate from the center, creating a striking starburst effect that highlights the precision and artistry of the maker.
Signed on the underside R. Concho, Acoma, NM, these late 20th-century pieces represent the continuation of Pueblo pottery traditions in miniature form. Both vessels are flattened, rounded forms, delicate yet strong, with balanced weight and crisp painted motifs.
Perfect for collectors of Native American art, Southwestern décor, or admirers of finely executed pottery, this pair makes a strong visual impact despite their small scale.
One is 2" in diameter and 1" high, the other one is 1.75" in diameter and .75" high.
