Vintage circa 1960s Shōwa Era 4-panel Japanese Byobu (folding screen), depicting an elegant mountain landscape with river, pine trees, water farm and a man walking on a bridge, on black background. Signed by artist. Gouache and ink on silk. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners and medallions. Paper on back. Excellent condition - minimal age wear overall, no damage to the painting or back, strong hinges, clean, sturdy. Japan, Showa Era, circa 1960s.
