An mid-century oil painting that captures a quiet street corner, where a row of low, yellow facades with shopfront windows are nestled beneath steep red-brown rooftops, executed in oil onto board and dated 1969.

Behind them, tall apartment blocks rise in muted yellow and cream, their flat walls punctuated by chimneys and rooflines silhouetted against a pale blue sky. The streets are empty, save for a lone streetlamp and utility box, lending the scene a still, almost cinematic quality.

The style blends modernist simplification with a touch of naïve precision, reducing architectural forms to bold, geometric planes while retaining enough detail to suggest texture and age.
