Handmade in the early 1900s using recycled Cuban … Read more Exceptional tramp art box with dramatic pyramid shape atop four tapered feet. Handmade in the early 1900s using recycled Cuban cigar boxes (includes stunning label on underside of lid). Each wood piece is hand-notched to create a pyramid and handle cutouts. In excellent condition, retaining all wood pieces. The satin fabric-lined interior appears to have been updated in the 1950s. It features a brown botanical print and is in excellent condition. The brass hinge pins were removed at some point in the piece's history. The lid is unhinged and fully removable, but sits securely on top. See less
