A beautifully hand-thrown studio pottery bowl signed “Patsy ’05,” showcasing the warmth and individuality of contemporary artisan ceramics. This piece features a rich, earthy brown exterior glaze accented with subtle verdant green undertones that softly pool and break across the surface, creating an organic, atmospheric finish. The form is both functional and sculptural, with gently curved walls and a slightly flared rim. Two small, hand-shaped side handles add a distinctive, almost biomorphic character—evoking natural forms while enhancing usability. The interior reveals a contrasting deep green glaze with a luminous, glassy depth, while the unglazed foot highlights the natural clay body and the artist’s hand.
This piece sits comfortably within the tradition of American studio pottery, blending rustic sensibility with refined craftsmanship. Ideal as a serving bowl, decorative vessel, or shelf display piece, it brings warmth and quiet character to any space.
