While the paint is newer and professionally applied, it compliments the age, rococo style and serpentine curves of this chest that dates back to the late 1700's.
The layered and mottled painted finish with blue, soft teal and white has been distressed, creating aged character while revealing the natural wood below.
Each large drawer had two brass pulls making them easy to open and use.
This elegant pine dresser has been restored, it is strong, stable and ready to use.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large chest of drawers.
