An antique black lacquer rectangular box with polychrome miniature painting. The hinged lid, with a finely painted scene of a bothersome gentleman flirting with a young woman, while another gallant nobleman steps up to intervene. Possibly by the Stobwasser Factory (Braunschweig, Germany, 1772-1829).
