A pair of French Henriot Quimper faience statues, or figurines, depicting men playing the traditional Breton bagpipe called a biniou. Polychrome glazed enameled earthenware, hand-painted in blue, yellow, brown, black and green. Marked on bottom: HB Quimper 520. These Breton figurines are part of a tradition of portraying charming, rustic peasant figures in Quimper pottery. Circa 1920s
