This cross-shaped wooden frame is designed to minimize compressive strength at the four attachment points of the seat and backrest. Its design creates the illusion that both the seat and backrest are floating together, thanks to the sawn curves of the white plywood frame. The plywood frame is finished in off-white. Instead of screws, all elements are connected using mortise and tenon joints. See less
