A 19th Century American Federal Style gilt wood pier mirror with carved clam shell center panel, architectural crown with gilt spheres and rope twist molding along the sides. Original mirror has streaked patina. Restoration on crown and corners and gilt touch-ups. Paper label on back: Albert Hess Picture Frame Manufacturer and Gilder. Factory, Union St., Randolph, Mass. Circa 1880-1910.
