First Lady Bess Truman selected Vera designs for the White House fabrics, and Marilyn Monroe draped herself in Vera scarves for her last photo shoot. She tagged many of her cheery designs with her iconic ladybug, which to Neumann symbolizes happiness. Her work is in the collection of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitain Museum of Art. These ornaments are adapted from original Vera silk scarf design. Private Collection." (From the packaging of the ornaments.)
