Original antique lithograph from a 1920s folio of the architecture of rural France. Based on illustrations by Samuel Chamberlain (1895-1975), an American architectural student who served in World War I in France. These detailed architecture prints are based on his travels in France, and identify the type of buildings shown, and in many instances the location of the real life structure.
Shown on this print are tree thatched cottages in Normandy including those found in Caudebec-en-Caux, Pacy-sur-Eure and Jumieges.
This print measures 9 x 12 inches and is in excellent condition with no imperfections. It is an original antique French architecture print from the early 1920s - not a reproduction. The print is carefully packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board, and shipped in a cardboard flat mailer with cardboard insert. A certificate with additional information is included.
Multiple print purchases are combined into a single shipment which can reduce the total shipping charge.
