England, late 19th century, executed in warm rich highly figured walnut, with a striking bookmatched burlwood rectangular top, over a tall narrow case with scalloped door-frame retaining the original glazed glass panel, revealing fabric-lined interior with single fixed-height shelf, flanked by burlwood filets framed by satinwood string banding, adorned with ornate chiseled gilt bronze ormolu mounts, raised on molded plinth base bracket feet.

Condition:
