In … Read more Striking large vintage ceramic snail figurine, finished in a deep plum purple glaze with a bold white crackle shell. In the second photo, this is the snail on the right, the one not sitting on the books. Sculptural and whimsical, this oversized snail makes a playful statement on its own or displayed alongside the matching smaller pair (listed separately in my shop). Colorful, mid-century piece full of character and charm.

This larger snail is offered at a discounted price due to visible flaws: an area of missing glaze on the underside and cracks that extend into the shell, all shown clearly in the photos. While these imperfections are present, they are nearly invisible when the piece is displayed, and it still reads beautifully as a decorative accent.
