Jean-claude silbermann (1935) the watchdog, 1964 original ink drawing signed lower right on thick paper 13.5 x 10.5 cm information: "sign for mother's day". Preparatory drawing for the works in the exhibition "enseignes sournoises" in 1964 at the mona lisa gallery. Silbermann, an artist of the late surrealist movement, close to andré breton. Provenance: library "paul destribats library of the avant-garde, christie's sale november 2022 very good condition this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
