Title: Folding Dining Table and Chairs by Charles Eames for Herman Miller.
Unmarked
Era: Probably Manufactured Mid-20th Century, Designed in 1947.
Description: Comprising a folding table and four chairs, probably models DTM and DCM. If the table and chairs are dated, often with two numbers written on the underside, then the value might be adjusted, but not necessarily. The condition of the chairs, with one's back off but retained, in addition to the overall nicks, marks, scratches, and small losses to the wood, will affect the value
Values: I would put an auction estimate of $2,500-4,500, with an insurance value of $5,500 on this set.
Below Was the original appraisal until I brought to their attention that there was damage and then I asked for a revision?.

Herman Miller dining set.
Description
Herman Miller dining set. Your dining set appears to be in fair to good condition, featuring a popular design that is highly sought after by interior decorators and collectors alike. Based on the photos, it seems that the chairs are veneered with walnut. The table is more difficult to determine from the images, but I would estimate it to be made of birch wood. Condition Notes The chairs are 19.5 in wide 29 in tall and the legs are 17 in deep. The seat is 19 and 1/4 in wide and 17.5 in deep the the seat is 17 in tall One of the chairs the back fell off from aging substance held to put on the other chairs are good. The chair with the back off needs refinishing or impainting. The other chairs do have imperfections , dings from age gouge The table is 54 in long 34 in wide 28.5 in tall solid For the chairs, I would estimate a value between $3,500 and $4,000 USD, while the table could range from $2,000 to $2,500 USD. If you’re considering selling the set, I believe you will find a buyer quite easily.
Date
c. 20th century.
Notes
The insurance valuation is a suggested value from a retail point of view; it is a big bonus that the dining set is of quite early manufacture hence my relatively high auction estimates. Since all the chairs' pieces are there it is possible to restore them and also take care of the minor veneer damage. How much a restoration would cost is difficult for me to say, for that you need to contact a restorer. It is a fine set that just needs, as you say, some attention and TLC. The company Herman Miller originated in 1905 as the Star Furniture Co and stands out as a household name across the globe, renowned for its creation of office furniture, equipment, and stylish home furnishings. The company's early focus centered on crafting exquisite bedroom suites, drawing inspiration from historic revival styles. However, the company swiftly evolved, forging partnerships with numerous celebrated designers. This collaboration yielded iconic pieces such as the legendary Charles and Ray Eames lounge chair, solidifying Herman Miller's status as a trailblazer in the realm of contemporary design.
With all very early pieces there are no markings as explained on many sites
