The silkscreen print travel poster is issued by the Tourist Administration - Cairo, printed in 1962 in an unnumbered limited edition in U.A.R. by Institut Graphique Egyptien.

It features a beautiful Mid Century Modernist style vibrant graphic artwork image depicting iconic Middle Eastern style architecture in a gorgeous bold multi tone blue palette with accent details of yellow, red, and white.

The United Arab Republic ( UAR ) was a sovereign state in The Middle East from 1958 to 1971. It was a political union between Egypt including the occupied Gaza Strip and Syria. The republic was led by Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser.

The rare out of print large format framed Mid Century Modern travel poster measures 28 1/2" W X 40 3/8" H X 1 1/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a classic Modern matte eggshell finish black wood box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent condition. The poster print is in excellent condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. There is some light signs of wear in the border margin corner edge area.
