We believe it was made to … Read more This gorgeous bronze and green marble chandelier was created in the mid 20th century. We believe it was made to special order by a knowledgeable metalworking shop, as these types of chandelier are extremely rare and even so, each has a unique look and structure. This chandelier features a two-tiwe illumination, with 6 arms in the first tier and 3 arms on the top, providing a combined 9 lights. The chandelier is very heavy, weighing around 75 lbs.

Condition: the electrical components were inspected and updated to meet current codes and to use US standard (E12) size candelabra bulbs. The bronze and marble parts are all in original condition.

Installation notes:
1. this chandelier is very heavy (~75 lbs) and can not be installed simply by mounting it to an existing or new ceiling electrical box. Installers with proper experience need to be involved, able to create a structurally sound mounting point, observing local codes and safety regulations. Mounting hardware to the ceiling and chain are not included, they will need to be purchased separately or provided by the installer.
2. the two tiers of this chandelier are wired separately, which means they can be hard wired to separate switches and turned on and off independently, or just one single switch to operate all lights the same time, based on customer preference.

Shipping notes:
The size and weight of this item is beyond the capabilities of standard parcel services to safely and cost-effectively deliver the shipment. Standard packaging methods (box, bubble wrap, etc) are also insufficient for this size, shape and weight. This item needs to be properly protected, placed in a custom built crate and shipped via an LTL carrier. Please allow 2-3 business days after purchase for crating and shipping this item.
