A rare and distinctive set of Vallauris plates, circa 1950, designed with elegant pie-crust edges. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, showcasing vibrant glazes with captivating variations in depth, richness, and natural crazing throughout.
The set includes six salad plates (8.25” diameter, 1.25” deep) and five dinner plates (9.5” diameter, 1.75” deep). Acquired in the French Riviera from the Cours Saleya Brocante in Nice, this collection beautifully reflects the artistry and charm of mid-century French ceramics.
