Beautiful chromed steel frame supporting nine brass rings that rotate around a central chrome sphere. The entire structure is mounted on a splayed steel tripod. Traditionally, armillary spheres served as astronomical demonstration tools or sundials. The nine rings symbolize the orbits of the nine planets encircling the sun, represented by the center sphere.
