The slim inlaid borders in contrasting darker wood delineate panels on the doors, canted corners and the tops, centered on Maltese crosses. Each cabinet has a removable shelf inside. First half of the 19th century, probably Italian. As is typical of fruitwood of this age, there are areas of old worming and other signs of age, some marks, dings and restorations: overall in very appealing antique condition, with a good finish. Working locks, one key works for both.
