Built with a fiberglass core and finished in cream lacquer, each one sits on a recessed black base that makes the form look like it’s floating. The construction shows off the raw fiberglass texture underneath —showing off the authentic construction methods of the period.

The design is clean and sculptural, yet warm enough to mix into different interiors. They work just as well as nightstands in a bedroom as they do flanking a sofa in a living room. The look is retro-futuristic, but also has that early Postmodern minimalism that was starting to emerge at the time.
