A Red & Black Glass Cylinder Vase - Signed David Lindsay Nourot Studio 1996
An eye-catching red and black hand-blown glass vase with a serpentine coil decoration. This cylinder vase has a black-glass collar base and a rolled applied black glass rim. The style is a nod to the Art Nouveau Tango glass movement in Europe in the early 20th century.
The underside bears the signature of the artist David Lindsay for Nourot Studios 1996. This is a one-of-a-kind vase.
The vase stands 12 1/2 inches tall and is 3 inches wide. It weighs exactly 2 lbs. In excellent condition, with only the slightest signs of wear to the base from normal use and previous display. No signs of damage or defects.
