Gilded Wrought Iron Curule or Savonarola Italian Hollywood Regency Vanity Stool. Formed metal tassels dangle from the metal "rope" strung accents. Button-tufted seat cushion in a light green velvet, which is fastened to the base as shown. Curvaceous, scrolled "X" shape with elegant curved bench seat. Hanging around the "rope" is an original metal tag engraved with "Made in Italy" as shown in photo. The bench seat dips to 16" above the floor in the center and goes up to 19" high at the sides. The base footprint where the legs hit the floor is 25" wide x 13" deep.
Could be used in a hallway, at the foot of a bed, in a living room seating arrangement or at a vanity. From a grand Moroccan estate in San Marino, CA.
