A Fine Antique Victorian Stick and Ball Parlour Table, Circa 1880's
Made in the USA circa 1870-1890's
Late victorian era, aesthetic movement, circa 1870-1890's
Made from Cherry, with a dark brown stained surface.
Neat "Stick and Ball" apron, with a lower shelf. Slight splay to the turned legs. A neat shaped table, in an unusual form.
Size: 28" by 25 1/2" top, and 29" tall.
Condition: Refinished, this table probably would have had an original black ebonized finish, but was refinished in the past 50 years. the support for the lower shelf has had a few repairs from age related shrinkage. There is a slight bit of movement in the table due to age and use. Use and wear marks on the top are consistent with age and use.
