A lithograph print by the American artist Joan Farrar. Titled "Silence," this work depicts a figure holding a hand to their mouth. Signed to the lower right, the print is titled and marked "A/P" for artist's proof along the lower edge. The print is displayed in a wooden frame and a white mat.
Joan Farrar is an American painter and printmaker. Farrar worked for Tanglewood Press as a printmaker, working in conjunction with the Leo Castelli Gallery and printing pieces by Jasper Johns, Tom Wesselmann, and Angelo Savelli. Farrar's prints are in numerous museums including the Art Institute of Chicago.
