A 1957 lithograph by the American artist Joan Farrar. This abstract work is dark blue and depicts a figure covering their eyes with their hand while sitting across from a vase of flowers. Signed and dated to the lower right, the print is displayed in a wooden frame and a white mat.
Joan Farrar is an American painter and printmaker. Farrar worked for Tanglewood Press as a printmaker, working in conjunction with the Leo Castelli Gallery and printing pieces by Jasper Johns, Tom Wesselmann, and Angelo Savelli. Farrar's prints are in numerous museums including the Art Institute of Chicago.
