This modular coffee table was created for the Italian company, Bellato. The Hexa coffee table is remarkable for its compositional elegance and remarkable engineering. It has a solid wood frame, finished with an open-pore satin-black paint, supporting four laminate-covered sliding tops that are off white on one side and pure white on the other. The sliding panels are in can transform into varied configurations with a finely tuned movements. This mechanism is made entirely from wood with precise notches ensuring smooth and continuous movement. Light wear; condition is good for vintage age and use.

About the Designer :
"Bernard Vuarnesson Born in France in 1935, Bernard Vuarnesson trained as a wood engineer at the École Supérieure du Bois in Paris, continuing his studies at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. Starting in the 1970s he collaborated with Ariane Vuarnesson, founding the creative workshop "Sculptures-Jeux." His work is distinguished by its ability to combine aesthetics, precision engineering and transformable functionality".
