This antique salt-glazed crock once used for general utilitarian kitchen use is now a standout decor piece for any rustic European or farmhouse style. This late 19th to early 20th century piece has been well-loved as witnessed from the aged glaze and hairline cracks. The cobalt blue number #2 depicting the volume of the piece, (2 gallons), is imprinted on one side. The vessel is substantial size with opening of 8.25 inches allowing an ample display for filling.
