1970’s Deruta Vintage Hand Painted Rooster Decorative Bowl, Ashtray, Vide Poche. The Italian hillside town of Deruta is known throughout the world for its spectacular pottery. For over six centuries, the craftspeople of Deruta have produced and exported ceramics. This lovely hand-painted Grazia Deruta Italian pottery decorative bowl features a rooster in the center surrounded by a botanical design of leaves and flowers. Each corner is graced with a single handmade painted leaf while the rim has a unique textured edge. Functional and decorative. Could use as a vide poche, or for display, serving, even as a beautiful ashtray! *NOTE: My store has an abundance of rooster-themed items for the avid collector.
