It has a beagle or spaniel face but not the markings of a beagle, so perhaps a spaniel. It stands 18" tall and when you walk into the room, you would swear it is real. The eyes look like glass but they are not--just finely painted. The material is either some sort of plaster or terra cotta. It had to have been cast--it is NOT heavy. Great condition with a few tiny flea bites (excuse the pun) on his back. Fully housebroken and he doesn't eat much. Sure to get a smile when anyone enters the room. See less
