This large-scale serigraph on canvas is by Jillian Field (American, 1950–1997), a noted modernist artist admired for her landscapes and refined stencil printing.
Field was born in Chicago and later lived in Squaw Valley, California, where she exhibited widely. A graduate of the University of Illinois in Fine Arts, she became known for her bold use of one- and two-color serigraphy. Her work was represented in galleries throughout California and remains highly collectible today.
Executed in a warm palette of tan, sienna, and brown, this piece embodies the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic with its minimalist yet commanding presence. Measuring 55” high x 38.5” wide, it’s an ideal statement piece for a living room, office, or gallery wall.
