This piece is very much in the … Read more We are selling this stunning English or Continental porcelain Urn or lamp base. This piece is very much in the style of Wedgwood with a black basalt main decoration with raised and gilded decoration and a central white floral medallion on opposing sides. The black basalt is mounted in creamware porcelain and was most likely intended as a lamp. There are no signatures on the piece surprisingly.

Condition: Some flaws with reddish spots in the white porcelain. Some wear to the gilt decorations and some surface abrasions and possible glue residue. Two small chips on the foot of the vase.
