This set of eleven luncheon plates measure about 8" in diameter. The Fernleigh crystal pattern was offered by Rock Sharpe between 1937 and 1939, showcasing a hand-blown stem with a fern and leaf motif.
Rock Sharpe, which cut and branded glass but did not manufacture it, relied on blanks from makers like Libbey. By the late 1930s Libbey was producing patterns for Sharpe both by hand and machine, later acquiring the company in 1947 and moving operations to Toledo in the early 1950s.
These coordinate with a few other Fernleigh pieces also available in our shop.
