These types of chairs are known for their elegant mid-century modern aesthetic, featuring a molded bent plywood frame made of beech wood. These chairs are a notable example of American mid-century modern furniture, reflecting the design trends of the post-World War II era. The design is versatile and can function as a desk chair, an accent chair, or as part of a dining set. The seats have been reupolstered in a blue leatherette by a previous owner and show indication on the underside of having been reupholstered several other times. A small tear in one corner of one seat has been mended. The frames have been restored having been given some veneer repairs and a new finish as close to original as possible.
