This piece was part of a coveted furniture collection by Sirmos/Bromante Corporation. The Sirmos line was represented within a "To the Trade," Donghia Showrooms. This base was made to accommodate a 48"- 60"D x 1 1/2"H square or round, glass top or marble top. Both options were available during its original production. This item is a silver-leaf zig-zag dining table base. It is quite substantial, and heavy in order to hold a thick glass top. Please note that a top does not come with the piece. Item has some minor nicks and cosmetic chips to area edging, although these can be fixed. Considering the era and use, this piece has stood the test of time, great otherwise. A conversation piece for any interior. Top of base perimeter surround dimensions are, 20.75" x 20.75." See less
