Magnificent Fenton Favrene “Wild Horses” Oval Vase, measuring 12x8x5". Handcrafted in the USA, this Platinum Collection piece features pure silver in the Favrene batch, creating a brilliant iridescent effect over rich cobalt glass. The design, “Wild Horses” by Robin Spindler, showcases finely detailed horses running under a moonlit sky. Issued in 2005 and limited to just 950 pieces, this example is hand-signed and numbered #865. A striking centerpiece for collectors of fine Fenton glass artistry or statement art glass décor.
Favrene was inspired by Tiffany’s renowned Favrile glass, yet produced in extremely limited numbers due to the complexity of the process. Each piece required precise reheating to achieve the silvered sheen, making no two items exactly alike.
